Q.   WHAT IS VIRTUAL REALITY?

A. Virtual reality (VR) is a highly immersive visual ‘simulation’. A headset is placed on the users face, and their real-world surroundings are replaced by a digital environment that they can interact with.

Q.  ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS FOR USING THE EQUIPMENT?

A. Although the manufacturer has not set a specific age limit on their headset, we generally recommend children are aged 10 years or above in order to comfortably wear the headset.

Q. CAN I USE THIS IF I HAVE ANY MEDICAL CONDITIONS?

A. VR is meant to be an enjoyable experience for anyone who tries it, however if you have a previous history of epilepsy, seizures or loss of awareness then we do not recommend a VR experience.

Q. CAN I WEAR MY GLASSES?

A. The headset has been designed to fit those with or without glasses. If in doubt, some slight adjustments can be made to ensure both the glasses and the headset fit comfortably.

Q. CAN THIS CAUSE MOTION SICKNESS?

A. VR technology has developed a lot in recent times to try and eliminate motion sickness in games. However, motion sickness can still occur in lower quality headsets and poorly designed games, which is why we ensure everything is thoroughly tested on our high quality equipment so our games are safe to play.

Q. CAN I USE THIS IF I AM PREGNANT OR STRUGGLING WITH MOBILITY?

A. Because we have a wide range of VR experiences and games, you will also be able to try some passive yet immersive experiences which require little to no physical involvement; these will be better suited for someone who is pregnant or struggling with mobility.

Q. DO I NEED TO WEAR ANY SPECIFIC CLOTHING?

A. No, there aren’t any specific dress requirements. However, if you do plan your visit in advance, we would advise wearing something comfortable.

Q. DO I NEED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE?

A. No, all of our single packages are designed for you to walk in and play. We do offer advanced booking options if you want to book for a group or party under our bookings section.

Q. CAN FAMILY/FRIENDS WATCH ME PLAY?

A. Family and friends are welcome to watch at the standing stations and in the private rooms. As the private rooms are closed off, only a few people at a time can stand inside the private rooms and watch a game being played.

Q. HOW DO I ARRANGE A GROUP/PARTY BOOKING?

A. Party booking slots are available from Sunday to Friday during opening hours.  In order to reserve the group’s place, a deposit must be paid at least 3 days prior to the party date. Bookings can be made directly in store, over the phone on 0121 643 5384 or by messaging us here.
